Come Together - Eurovision Song Contest Album

Yes, it's that time of year again when we will probably get "nul" points in the Eurovision Song Contest. This year the contest is being held in Stockholm, Sweden, who won last year's contest.

The UK entry is by duo Jon and Jake with the song You're Not Alone, a track that sounds very much like a One Direction song. Hopefully it will fair better than our previous attempts.

One of the favourites to win the contest is Russia with the song You Are The Only One. My favourite though is from Bulgaria with If Love Was A Crime, a catchy Euro pop number that has the catchy vocal line that James Morrison used in his single last year Demons.

France are second favourites at the moment, in the past they have always sung in French but with this year's song J'ai Cherche the track is sung in both French and English. It's their best shot in years and is a track you would be most likely to hear on French radio than some of their previous efforts.

Australia are fourth favourites at the moment with Sound of Silence. The track could be an old Celine Dion track and in Dami Im they have found a vocalist to deliver this slow building song.

Host country Sweden could be holding the contest yet again next year with If I Was Sorry, a track that sounds like it could be playing all over Europe this summer.

The UK is 23rd favourite at the moment for the contest with the grand final on Saturday 14 May. Some of these 43 songs on the album will be eliminated in the semi finals, but if you enjoy Eurovision then this is an album you will enjoy.
