Gig Preview: Echo And The Bunnymen - Wakefield

 
Echo and the Bunnymen still with the vocals of the enigmatic Ian McCulloch play a rare Yorkshire date when they visit Wakefield Warehouse 23 on Friday 16 October.

The band formed in 1978 in Liverpool and went on to have international success with albums such as Ocean Rain and the singles The Cutter and The Killing Moon. The band have broken up and regrouped over the years but this current tour sees them back at their best.

The group won the Inspiration Award from Q Magazine in 2002. Their last album was produced by Youth in 2014, Meteorites was met to critical aclaim. Always flying the flag for the Liverpool music scene the band have influenced many of the groups of today.
