A Winter Weekend In Winchester?
England’s ‘Christmas Capital’ is beckoning Yorkshire shoppers eager to turn the four hour drive south into a Winter Wonderland weekend.
A bustling atmosphere, high-quality exhibitors and festive foods make Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market one of the best in Europe. Last year it attracted more than 400,000 visitors.
This year visitors can expect over 100 chalets selling festive favourites, such as mulled wine, bratwurst, mince pies and stollen. The wooden chalets surround one of the UK’s top 10 open-air ice rinks, and the Cathedral is lit up after twilight to provide the perfect winter playground for children and adults alike.
