Arctic Monkeys Return With New Album In May

Sheffield's very own, Arctic Monkeys are due to release what will probably be the most eagerly awaited new album of the year.
Friday 11 May has been announced as the release date for their 6th studio album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. Produced by James Ford and lead singer and guitarist Alex Turner, the album was recorded in London, Paris and Los Angeles.
The band released their last album, AM 5 years ago. They are playing headline shows from May onwards along with festival dates this summer.
An autumn tour has just been announced too with two dates at Sheffield Arena on 18 and 19 September. Support comes from The Lemon Twigs. Tickets go on sale on Friday 13 April and are available from:
