Bad Manners
With what is now becoming a regular fixture between Christmas and New Year, Bad Manners returned to HOLMFIRTH to play a fun packed and entertaining gig.

Before they arrive on stage the DJ had been playing Ska classics from Prince Buster, Madness and The Beat.

Buster Bloodvessel may not be as fat as in the early 80's "You all look so heathy" he declares "Where are all the fat people?" he asks.

The dance floor in front of the stage resembles that of a school disco with the fans young and old in good spirits.

Lead singer Buster Bloodvessel
This Is Ska provides the perfect warm up before Bloodvessel asking "Where is Lorraine." As he introduces Lorraine.

It is not all novelty though as the band did record some tracks such as Walking in the Sunshine that showed there was more to the act than those memorable fun appearances on Top of the Pops.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You might not be the best version that has been recorded of the song but it is most likely the most raucous one.

The hits follow such as My Girl Lollipop and Special Brew.

As Lip Up Fatty provides the perfect encore with Buster now showing his trademark huge tongue to the audience, it was left to a carefree spirit version of The Can Can to conclude what had probably been the best concert HOLMFIRTH had witnessed in 2017.

"We love coming here, you are the best" Bloodvessel declares. Another sold out gig and with a sea of sweaty bodies and happy faces it is hard not to disagree with him.
