Buenos Aires Comes To Yorkshire
Colin Sidaway, Features Writer
Emilia Andrada and Benjamin Galian
On a cold, wet and windy Saturday evening when most good folk were watching television, in Menston, Leeds the climate was definitely warmer as Emilia and Benjamin gave us an evening of traditional Argentinean Tango.

The venue of the High Royds Social Club may seem an unlikely place but there is a lovely large dance floor and excellent warm atmosphere for the event.

Our hosts were Emilia Andrada and Benjamin Galian who come from the north of Argentina at Tocuman.

Emilia has been dancing for 16 years and together with her dance partner Benjamin travel the world teaching and demonstrating traditional tango.

The dancers came from far and wide...
Their travels include Japan, France Tunisia, Brazil, Spain, Mexico and Bolivia. This is their second visit to the UK and we are delighted to have their company.

Railway In War Time
The Oil Can Cafe
The Hidden Tunnel Under Harrogate
The dancers came from far and wide with Eric driving over from Liverpool and we had guests from Greece. Eric told me that in is opinion they were the best teachers he had experienced and who would argue against that?

I hope that Emilia and Benjamin enjoy their short stay in Yorkshire and not only take back happy memories but also return again and again. They would be most welcome.

P.S. they have never heard of, or seen, Strictly.
