Compilation Naughty Sesh - Weekend Anthems (New State Music)

If you like your dance music then this 3CD compilation will be an aural delight for your ears and a fiesta for your footwork.

Normally these compilations tend to use the same tracks but New State Music seem to have brought together the best of the new and the tastiest of the old here. The dance track of the moment is Feel My Needs by Weiss which thankfully has been included here. If you have been to Ibiza this summer then this track might have been the soundtrack to those heady club nights.

The house vibes continue with Duke Dumont and Gorgon City featuring Naations on the song, Real Life - another recent club smash.

Even Settle born John Newman appears on CD2 with his early track Rudimental- Feel The Love -a song which he first sang live at his Settle Victoria Hall at his homecoming gig back in 2013. The song still sounds fresh with an uplifting mood.

Daniel Bedingfield takes us back with Gotta Get Thru This, making you wonder whatever became of him? If you want to test out the bass on your speakers then there is no better track than All Goes Wrong by Chase and Status, also featured on CD2.

CD3 has what must be described as dance classics that still fill any dancefloor. It was hypnotic at the time and most of Europe fell under its spell: Freed From Desire by Gala had Europe dancing from Iceland to Italy.

The Shapeshifters track, Lola's Theme eventually benefited from having a vocal on the track, much like the aforementioned Weiss track does. With a good melody you can hear how songs like this can crossover to a mainstream audience.

Example are unique too in that they are a dance act who can tour and play live, Changed The Way You Kissed Me has enthralled live audiences and festival goers over the years.

Definitely Weekend Anthems but also an antidote to those Weekday Blues.

I rate the album 3 out of 5.
