Situated in the former Byron's Restaurant in Harrogate, Estabulo it seems is offering something new that could be unique to the town.
If you are a meat lover then this newly opened restaurant should be on your radar.
The place does look a lot bigger than previously and feels like a Brazilian Rodizio bar and grill with the decor. There are comfy booths as well as the usual restaurant lay out.
At Estabulo you really are in charge of your dining experience. You start by visiting a well stocked salad bar. The salad I found to be very fresh, it all tasted natural and not like the ingredients had just come out of the freezer!
There was a selection of breads, cheddar cheese, salami, smoked salmon, creamy garlic mushrooms, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes and Feijoada parika and black bean stew.
Then come the treat for meat lovers the Passadores start coming around the tables with flamed grilled meats, one by one. You simply turn the card which is placed on your table to either the green side("Bring it on") or the red side ("Im ready to pop").
The selection of beef offered ranges from cap of rump, Chilli beef, Sirloin Steak and beef skirt. There is also Chicken and sausages served too.
Vegetarians are not excluded as dishes such as Green Vegetable Spaghetti, Risotto and also pasta are served along with fish alternatives such as Tuna Steak Sea Bass Fillet and salmon fillet.
The vegetation option is priced at £9.95 at lunchtime and £12.95 evenings.
The meat option is £14.95 at lunchtimes and £24.95 evenings (4-10pm)
All the meat I tasted was succulent and tasty served by very polite yet friendly staff who were very attentive.
The visit was in a weekday evening and the restaurant wasn't very full but it felt good that it did not stop the cuts of meats appearing every 4 or 5 minutes.
