Gig Preview: Clare Teal - Settle Victoria Hall, Thursday 26 May 2016

 
In what must be a big coup for Settle, probably the biggest one since John Newman appeared there a few years ago, Clare Teal is performing at the Victoria Hall on Thursday 26 May.

The Radio 2 presenter and more importantly one of the most respected and loved singers has just released her new album, Twelve O'Clock Tales.

The album features her original songs alongside those from the last 100 years such as Might As Well Be Spring, Wild is the Wind and Secret Love. Conducted by Stephen Bell and features the famous Halle orchestra.

At the Settle show Clare will be backed by her excellent trio on bass, piano and drums.

Expect a night of hearing Clare interpreting these classic songs with some warm and witty dialogue in between.
