Interview: Logan Brill
Logan Brill has taken the slow and steady approach to her recording
career.

Having studied French at university, she grew from dabbling in Blues as part of her brothers' band through to writing hit songs for other artists before unveiling her debut solo album in 2013.

Having blown away the critics with her rich, raw and emotive vocal, she was invited to perform at both Country2Country and Nashville Meets London and returns for a starring role in Country Music Week next month.

We caught up with her to celebrate her debut UK single, World Still Round and ask what song makes you...

Smile

Let's Stay Together - Al Green. It has so much soul and groove, it just makes me happy every time I hear it.

Contemplate

A Litte Bit of Everything - Dawes. Lyrically, this song is solid gold. It's about life and all it's complexities, and it's one you have to actively listen to, so it makes you think.

Cry

Just for the Record - Lucie Silvas. I think Lucie Silvas could sing the phone book and I'd be moved by it. Her voice has so much soul and emotion behind it, and this song is heartbreakingly honest.

Relax

Home - Bonnie Raitt. This song just feels like coming home.

Dance

24k Magic - Bruno Mars. Actually, just about anything by Bruno Mars makes me want to dance. I don't think there's anyone who can listen to
24K Magic and sit still.
