Last Ever Soft Cell Concert To Be Shown Live In Cinemas Nationwide
Graham Clark, Features Writer
The iconic synth duo Soft Cell will always be associated with Yorkshire. It was at Leeds Polytechnic where Marc Almond and David Ball met in the late 70's.

The duo went on to have hits such as their legendary cover of Tainted Love, Bedsitter and Say Hello, Wave Goodbye. It is the title of this latter hit that names their last ever show together at the o2 Arena in London on Sunday 30 September.

Also by Graham Clark...
Olly Murs - You Know, I Know (RCA Records)
Billy Ocean, Harrogate Conference Centre
Review Of Motown The Musical, Leeds Grand Theatre
Caro Emerald - York Barbican
Peter Andre Interview - Celebrating 25 Years
The show will be captured by 13 cameras and will be beamed live by satellite to cinemas across the country. Two new songs have been recorded too by the duo: Northern Lights and Guilty (Cos I Say You Are).

The gig is completely sold out but as well as the cinema screening there will be a CD released of the concert early in 2019 as well as a DVD/blu ray.
