Miss Saigon Arrives In Manchester

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of the Boublil and Schoenberg legendary musical Miss Saigon arrives in Manchester on Wednesday 21 March and runs until Saturday 12 May at the Palace Theatre.

Featuring a cast of over 60 the musical is set in the last days of the Vietnam war when 17 year old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by the notorious character known simply as Engineer.

There she meets and falls in love with an American GI called Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For three years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris who has no idea he has fathered a son.

The musical has received rave reviews with many describing it as "unmissable, unforgettable and unbeatable"
