Opera North Creative Explorers Come To Leeds
Younger family members are invited to get creative with Opera North this summer with the launch of a brand new holiday week in Leeds.
Opera North Creative Explorers offers five 'fun-packed days for 5 to 7-year-olds' from Monday 30 July to Friday 3 August in the Howard Assembly Room.
From music to drama, story-telling to set design, there will be plenty of inspiring activities to ignite imaginations and keep little ones occupied. All abilities are welcome with each session being led by experienced artists and pastoral staff.
Activities run from 10am to 4pm each day but, to make the week as flexible as possible, children can be dropped off from 9am with last pick-up at 5pm. There is also the option to book in for the whole week or just for a day or two.
Jacqui Cameron, Education Director, Opera North, said: “We know how difficult it can be to keep young children occupied during the long school holidays, which is why we’ve decided to offer a new arts week this summer. With all kinds of things to do every day, we hope it’ll appeal to any child who enjoys exploring, creating and having fun in a friendly, relaxed environment.”
Opera North Creative Explorers costs £25 per day or £110 for the full week with sibling discounts available. More information and booking details can be round on the Opera North website. Early booking is recommended as space is limited.
