Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And Humber: 11 - 17 September 2017
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 8 September and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 30 to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The northbound entry slip road at junction 30 and northbound entry slip road at junction 35will be closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 12 September. The southbound exit at junction 32 will be closed overnight for two nights from Monday 11 September and then again Thursday 14 September.

The southbound entry slip road at junction 35a will be fully closed overnight on Friday 15 September. The southbound exit slip road at junction 35 will be fully closed overnight on Monday 11 September. This is for works on the smart motorways. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 35a to junction 36 Tankersley

The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights for loop cutting from Monday 11 September. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 37 Dodworth

The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Thursday 14 September for carriageway repairs. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 39 Durkar

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 11 September for technology maintenance. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 junction 6 to M62 junction 35 Langham

The M18 northbound to the M62 eastbound link will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Monday 11 September. The M62 eastbound to the M18 southbound link will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 13 September. This is for resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 26 to junction 27 GIldersome

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for seven nights from Monday 11 September for gantry painting works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

M62 junction 32 Castleford to junction 30 Rothwell

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction until March 2018 for drainage and concrete barrier work.

M62 junction 33 to junction 34 Whitley

The carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Saturday 16 September for narrow lanes to be installed. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route. The carriageway will then be in narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction until March 2018 for drainage and concrete barrier work.

M62 junction 38 North Cave

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slip roads overnight on Friday 15 September for resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

A1(T) Barnsdale Bar to Ferry Bridge

The northbound and the southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Friday 15 September for overhead cable works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

A180 Ulceby

The eastbound entry slip will be fully closed for 24/7 from Friday 15 September 8pm to Monday 18 September for drainage work. Drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.
