Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber: 18 - 24 September 2017

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 15 September and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 31 to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The northbound exit slip road at junction 35a and the northbound carriageway between the slip roads at junction 32 will be closed overnight on Friday 22 September. The northbound exit slip road at junction 35 will be closed overnight on Monday 18 September. The southbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 18 September.

The southbound entry at junction 31 and at junction 35a will be closed overnight on Thursday 21 September. The southbound entry slip road at junction 35 will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 19 September. This is for works on the smart motorways. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 41 Carr Gate

The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 20 September for technology repairs. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 42 Lofthouse

The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Monday 18 September and then again for two nights on Saturday 23 September for technology repairs. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 junction 6 to M62 junction 35 Langham

The M18 northbound to the M62 eastbound link will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 19 September. The M62 westbound to the M18 southbound link will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 18 September. This is for resurfacing works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 25 to junction 26 Chain Bar

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for seven nights from Monday 18 September for gantry painting works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

M62 junction 32 Castleford to junction 30 Rothwell

The carriageway will be in narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction until March 2018 for drainage and concrete barrier work.

M62 junction 33 to junction 34 Whitley

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 20 September for carriageway works. The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 18 September for carriageway works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route. The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction until March 2018 for drainage and concrete barrier work.

M18 junction 3 to junction 4 West Moor

The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 20 September for carriageway works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion route.

Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber: 18 - 24 September 2017, 16th September 2017, 11:02 AM
