Preview: Harrogate Spring Flower Show

The weather might feel more like winter at the moment after the recent unseasonably hot period last week, but just to remind you that it is spring, the Harrogate Spring Flower Show opens this coming Thursday 20 April.

Held at the Great Yorkshire Showground, the Spring flower show is the first big event of the year in the garden calendar.

This prestigious and ever popular event is held over 4 days from Thursday 20 April until Sunday 23 April.

As well as the usual features this year there is the new Plant Pavilion which will contain over 100 leading plant nurseries.

Look out too for HOT - Horticultural on Trend which has the latest fashions in plants, garden features and designs for 2017.

Visitors will also be able to witness stunning floral art, cooking demonstrations along with the great shopping opportunities the flower show always has.

A lot of the exhibits are under cover so if it does rain there will be plenty of space to keep dry.

Always a good day out, if you have never been and always meant to go, perhaps this year you should pay a visit.
