Q&A Noor Hibbert - Founder of This Is Your Dream
QWhat was your first job?
AMy first job was working in a children's after school club as a play worker.
QHow did you get into the career you're in?
AI was so lost in a job that didn't fulfil me. I went on my honeymoon to Bali and was reading a book I had picked up off my mum's bookshelf and inside it the guy talked about his coaching business. I immediately knew that was what I wanted to do.
QWhat's the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?
ATrust my gut because your intuition is your most reliable source of information.
QYour worst mistake in the workplace?
AWhen I worked abroad for Club 18-30 as a holiday rep. I once slept in and missed my coach transfer where I was meant to be taking 50 guests to the airport. I had to pay for a taxi and meet them at the airport! Thank god all the holiday makers navigated themselves!
QMost embarrassing/funniest thing that's happened to you?
AI could write a million things here! When I worked in Ibiza, I was VIP at a club and spotted David Guetta. My friend and I were so excited and took pictures and messaged everyone to let them know. Then next day we posted a proud photo on facebook announcing our celeb meet to be told that in fact that wasn't David Guetta at all! I was mortified!! It was funny though how excited we were!
QIf you weren't doing what you're doing now, what would it be?
AI'd be doing something in the entertainment industry such as acting!
QFavourite thing about our beloved Yorkshire?
AMy husband!!! I'm not actually from Yorkshire but he is and I moved here 6 years ago!
QThree desert island items?
A photo of my kids and hubby
QWhat would you like people to remember you for?
For inspiring them to be a better version of themselves.
