Ryanair baggage Changes
Robin Kiely, Head of Communications for Ryanair, said: “In relation to the section ‘Potential Impact of New Rules, 90% of the time, the bag will arrive at the carousel before the customer. Ryanair mishandles fewer bags than any other airline.
“Furthermore, we only offer connecting flights at three airports, where customers using our connecting service automatically receive priority boarding, and where checked bags are automatically transferred between the aircraft, so they won’t miss connecting Ryanair flights.
On ‘Priority Boarding Prices’, this can be added for €6 on the app up to 30 mins before scheduled departure time. On ‘Checked-in baggage cost’ we have increased the standard bag size from 15kg to 20kg, and reduced the cost from €35 to €25.
