Seville Break To Launch From Leeds Bradford Airport

Super Break has announced the launch of a brand-new and exclusive route to Seville, as it is named Lonely Planet’s #1 city to visit in 2018.

The news also represents the opportunity to experience not only the essence of Spain in Andalucia, but an Easter spectacle like no other.

The launch of the new chartered service by Super Break will be the first direct flight from Leeds Bradford Airport to Seville, helping more people access the popular European destination than ever before – just in time for Easter 2018.

This is the second chartered flight service to launch from Leeds Bradford Airport by Super Break, following the success of its Northern Iceland offering.

It means travellers can be in the city during Semana Santa, an incredible spectacle for most visitors to Seville. The week-long event, which celebrates the run-up to Easter, sees the Spanish streets come alive with thousands of hooded figures, accompanied by brass bands parading slowly behind swaying life-sized religious statues of the Virgin Mary and her Son.

Chris Sanders, Aviation Development Director at Leeds Bradford Airport commented: “We are delighted that Super Break have chosen Leeds Bradford Airport for this very special departure. Seville is a great city to visit at any time, but even more so at Easter as the city celebrates with a series of colourful and eye-catching parades through its streets. As this holiday is from Good Friday to Easter Monday, we expect very strong demand.”

Katherine Scott from Super Break added: “This new break to Andalucia means customers can go straight to the heart of Spanish culture that is Seville and Andalucia. The traditions, cuisine and culture of this beautiful region really does mean holidaymakers can have it all.”
