Simple Minds And The Pretenders To Perform At Leeds Millennium Square This Summer

Two separate concerts have been announced for this summer at Leeds Millennium Square for the new look Summer Series of music in the city.
The Pretenders visit the Millennium Square on Friday 3 August.
The band led by Chrissie Hynde are best known for the hits Brass In Pocket, Stop Your Sobbing, Back on the Chain Gang, 2000 miles and I'll Stand By You.
Last year the band released their 10th album Alone to stunning reviews.
Simple Minds appear on Saturday 11 August with special guest K T Tunstall.
In the mid 80's Simple Minds were one of the best live acts around and they can still make that claim today.
The group are getting ready for a busy year ahead with a new album, Walk Between Worlds being released in February.
Classic songs such as Alive and Kicking, Promised You A Miracle, Don't You (Forget About Me) and Glittering Prize along with tracks off the new album will be performed.
Scotland born K T Tunstall emerged in 2004 with her classic debut Eye To The Telescope which contained hits such as Cherry Tree and Suddenly I See.
Tickets for both concerts are priced each at £37.50 (Bronze General Admission) and £55.00 (Golden circle) all tickets carry a booking fee.
