Southport Flower Show Preview

Besides being one of the biggest 4 day flower shows in the north, the Southport Flower Show is also the largest independent flower show in the country attracting over 50,000 visitors.

Held in Victoria Park in the town, it is easy to combine a day at the flower show with a look around this charming resort.

The theme this year is Once Upon A Time which will include gardens being inspired by The Jungle Book and Snow White.

Alongside this are the stunning show gardens, grand floral marquees and the usual trade stands.

The show this year will be opened by Monty Don on Thursday 16 August.

The show runs from Thursday 16 August to Sunday 19 August
