The South Return To Yorkshire
Graham Clark, Features Writer
When the Beautiful South decided to split up over 10 years ago some members of the group decided that they would still like to carry on. From this The South were born.
Since vocalist Dave Hemingway retired from the music scene, Gaz Bartles has now taken over male vocals alongside Alison Wheeler
The real stars though of The South are the timeless tracks such as A Little Time (a UK Number 1), Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Old Red Eyes Is Back and Good As Gold, amongst others which you can expect to hear on the forthcoming tour.
The band are touring again and visit Yorkshire playing gigs at Pocklington Arts Centre on Friday 13 April and Wakefield Warehouse 23 on Sunday 15 April.
