The Yorkshire Times Seasonal Spotlight - Mark Pullar Of All My Systems
Paige Catton, Features Writer
We grab 60 seconds with Mark Pullar, managing director at All My Systems, in this exclusive seasonal spotlight for The Yorkshire Times…
What was your primary business objective at the start of the year?
To grow the team from four to seven and secure some key new customers – we’ve managed to achieve this and more as there are now nine of us! Building a high performing workforce has been an important step alongside truly embedding the culture of the business, ready for continued growth in 2018.
Looking back on 2017, what have been the 3 biggest highlights for All My Systems?
Firstly, retaining a happy customer base throughout a period of significant growth. Secondly, becoming a commercial partner of Huddersfield Town Football Club and supporting their amazing premier league achievement. And last but not least, launching AMS TV fortnightly videos to inform, help and educate people on the transformational impact better systems can have within small businesses.
What has been the most difficult challenge for your business?
Refining our sales process and tools in order to make operations more consistent has been a challenge, especially now that several more people are involved. I’m pleased to say we’re getting there, but we will always look to continually improve this in 2018.
Name another Yorkshire firm that you think has had a great year…
Technology specialist Vapour Cloud, based in Elland. 2017 has been a big year for the company, as it has secured significant investments as well as launching industry first products.
And one to watch in 2018?
Leeds-based EVER Group, who support businesses in their growth. They seem to be doing some great things at the moment, and I’m excited to see what’s to come for them in the new year.

To increase our turnover to over £500,000 by the end of 2018.
Anything you will do differently?
Refine our customer segments and journeys, which will help us identify and hopefully work with some key small businesses in 2018, resulting in even higher client satisfaction with our services.
How do you think the regional business climate will fare?
I think it will do very well, as long as we all stay focused on delivering a memorable customer experience and continuing to innovate in our marketplace. For instance, we have invested heavily in R&D for product development this year, which will help us to further progress in 2018.
How will your team be celebrating Christmas before the break?
We recently enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal at The Fleece in Ripponden.
Describe Christmas at your house, in three words
Family, relaxing, switch-off.
