Thousands Take To The Streets Of Leeds For Cycling Festival
Leeds Millenium Square Festival Zone
Thousands of people took advantage of the opportunity to cycle through Leeds’s traffic-free streets today, as part of HSBC UK Let’s Ride.

8,500 locals got on their bikes to ride the 5km course in the warm weather, which took in local landmarks as well as a host of family-friendly activities.

British Cycling Chief Executive, Julie Harrington and Leeds City Council Chief Officer, Culture and Sport, Cluny Macpherson, joined Olympic bronze medallist Katy Marchant who was on hand to start the event, before mingling with participants throughout the day.
