Vampires Due To Rock At York Grand
Andrew Liddle, Features Writer
Sam Bailey
Sam Bailey, X Factor favourite and winner, is to star in Vampires Rock, stepping into the shoes of legendary singer and actress Toyah Willcox - who played the part of the Vampire Queen for two years, performing over 200 times in the country’s most successful classic rock musical concert.

And it’s coming to the Grand Opera House, York, on 25th January, 2019 – a date for your next year’s diary. Expect to be electrified!

Creator and co-star of Vampires Rock, Steve Steinman will have the audience "roaring with laughter and shouting for more".

A tongue-in-cheek story, a spellbinding cast, guitar gods and sexy vampettes will take you on a ride through some of the Greatest Eighties’ Classic Rock Anthems, by Queen, AC/DC, Meat Loaf, Journey, Guns’n’Roses, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Joan Jett and, not least, Alice Cooper and Bonnie Tyler!

A chance to revisit the most colourful of all pop decades perhaps.
