Wakefield Estate Agent Wins Top Award
Holroyd Miller, Wakefield based estate agent, become 'Regional Agent of the Year North' during The Guild of Professional Estate Agents annual gala dinner and prestigious awards ceremony at the Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London, which marks the outstanding achievements of the Guild's 700-plus member agents.
This hard fought category was the largest geographical area. Termed as the 'North Region' agents as far as the Scottish boarders, to the Lancashire and Yorkshire coast down to the Midlands boarders entered to win the top accolade.
The judges said Holroyd Miller had been staunch supporters of the Guild for many years, and had played a key role in its expansion in the region. The agents have hosted regional meetings at their offices, and helped to co-ordinate joint marketing campaigns amongst fellow agents, promoting referrals and sharing best practice.
Guild CEO Marcus Whewell says: "The quality of award entries this year was the highest ever, indicating how our organisation is moving forward and assisting its agents to give a truly outstanding service to the public. Another Yorkshire agent to feature during the awards ceremony was Wetherby based Renton & Parr who took a respectable silver in the Award for the Region's best agent.
