Ward Thomas - Restless Minds (Sony Music)

If you like The Shires or are fond of the new country direction that Kylie has recently taken, then chances are you will enjoy this album.

Already Radio 2 favourites, listening to this album you would be led to believe that the duo are actually older than their young years.

Lead single No Filter typifies the sound of the album - melodic, inoffensive yet highly addictive songs that have a timeless quality.

Lie Like Me is written with the Internet generation in mind as the lyric is being about how you can create and lie about your own life on line.

It's Not Just Me sounds like it should be a single, whilst Never Know shows that the Twin Sisters can up the tempo if they want to.

I Believe In You could be a country hoe-down and will be a great song to close their gigs on their forthcoming spring tour.

At over 15 tracks long, the album might have benefited from a little trimming as things start to sound too familiar by the time you get over half way through it.

I give the album 3 out of 5
