Master Chef Finalist At New Ellington Hotel, Leeds

The New Ellington boutique hotel situated at Wellington Place in Leeds has in residence until the end of December, Master Chef finalist Elizabeth Cottam, in what will be an exciting time for the hotel's restaurant.

The menu will focus on classic British recipes using traditional autumnal flavours which will change every month during her residency. Liz's dishes will feature such mouth watering meals of Yorkshire Confit duck with plums, Green Beets and Soya, a vegetarian aubergine and tomato tart and desserts like delicious toffee apple and vanilla cheesecake.

Cottam says:
"This fantastic base will allow me to create the style and quality of food I really want to serve in some pretty lovely surroundings."

Diners can enjoy a private dining experience in the 55 cover restaurant from £25 on Monday to Thursday, whilst on a Friday and Saturday there is a four course taster menu for £45.

The New Ellington Hotel is a 38 bedroom boutique hotel named after Duke Ellington who played the Leeds Music Festival in 1958.
