21st Century Makeover For 18th Century Hotel

The bedroom suites at Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on the outskirts of Leeds, West Yorkshire, have been upgraded as part of an improvement programme.

Seven suites, including the up-market Richmond Castle Suite, famed for its modern glamour, have been given a makeover.

The interior design project set out to deliver a fresh look whilst sympathetically respecting the building’s original features.

The 18th century property, featuring a championship golf course, is set amongst landscaped gardens and over 300 acres of grounds.

It is now part of The QHotels Collection (formerly The QHotels Group) a group of unique hotels and resorts located across the UK.

Members of The Green Tourism Scheme, The QHotels Collection is committed to a sustainability programme which focuses on: People, Places and Planet – encouraging this through the engagement of its employees, guests, suppliers, and investors.

Mark Illingworth, General Manager at Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, said: “We are delighted to unveil the newly refurbished suites as the final piece of multiple product upgrades made across the whole resort over recent years.

"Keeping ahead of the competition in the local area, these suites represent sophistication, offering an unmatched experience for some of our most selective guests.”
