£350k Worth Of Glamping Beckons From Yorkshire!

The ultimate glamping experience – said to be the only one of type in the North of England – is now available to discerning holidaymakers in Acklam, North Yorkshire!

The Private Hill, based at Thrussendale Farm in a spectacular setting between Malton and York, boasts "unsurpassed luxury" in Geodesic Domes and represents a £350k investment by its developers.

Ideal for countryside lovers who appreciate the finer things in life – or city dwellers who want to look at the countryside without getting their wellies too muddy! - each of the domes is complete with mains power, running water and full en-suite shower rooms with flushing toilet!

There are also superking sized beds (or two large twins), extra comfortable bedding with a choice of pillows, along with a woodburning stove, firepit and a stocked minibar, making it the ideal break for romance, families and celebrations.

Each dome is complete with a small kitchenette, Nespresso coffee machine, Sonos music and many other luxury touches only usually associated with 5 star hotel stays. Children have a swinging cocoon bed for under 8’s and older children can sleep in a double sofa bed.

There is also a large reception dome, known as Jane’s Dome, that offers sumptuous breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon tea, evening canapés and cocktails. Jane’s Dome boasts stunning 60-mile views of the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside.

Each Dome is named after one of the prize-winning Aberdeen Angus cattle grazed at Thrussendale Farm.
