A Chance For Your Band To Appear At Yorkshire’s Newest Festival

Gateways festival due to be held this summer in Skipton is giving local and unsigned bands and artists the opportunity to compete for the chance to perform on their main stage, alongside legendary headliners Razorlight and Feeder and other artists, such as Scouting for Girls, Dodgy, Toploader and more.

Gateways is a new outdoor cinema and live music festival due to be held at Aireville Park, Skipton on the 6th, 7th and 8th August 2021 and is dedicated to giving local artists the platform they deserve in order to showcase their musical talent.

The virtual Battle of the Bands competition will give acts from any musical genre the chance to play one of four main stage slots with two opening slots on Saturday 7th August and two opening slots on Sunday 8th August.

Directors of the festival said,

“We had planned to do a live Battle of the Bands competition but unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic we’ve had to make alternative arrangements. In place of the physical competition we’re now doing an online competition instead. We’re delighted to be able to give local acts a platform to showcase themselves and what better way than sharing the same stage with some incredible bands.”
