A Christmas Wish Comes True As Roy Wood Is Coming To Holmfirth

Along with the turkey, the Christmas tree and the presents it would not be Christmas without the Wizzard hit, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.

The song originally released in 1973 has become a Christmas classic, but the writer of the song Roy Wood had many other hits too in his career with The Move (Blackberry Way and Flowers in the Rain) before forming ELO and then Wizzard.

The latter band had hits with Angel Fingers, See My Baby Jive and Are You Ready To Rock. If you fancy hearing all these hits mentioned above then you need to get along to Holmfirth Picturedrome on Wednesday 11 December to catch Roy Wood and his Rock 'n' Roll band.

He has performed in Yorkshire during December over the last few years in Doncaster, Halifax and Harrogate, but there is no experience to touch seeing him at Holmfirth before a very appreciative audience.
