A New Topping For Your Cappuccino Or Latte

In an effort to make their cheese café even more cheese-y, from the beginning of next month The Courtyard Dairy near Settle will dust your coffee with finely-grated Parmesan instead of chocolate!
“I used to joke that our café was so cheese-orientated that the only thing that didn’t have cheese in it was the coffee,” says owner Andy Swinscoe, “but now we’ve rectified that!”
The Courtyard Dairy’s café stocks predominantly cheese dishes, ranging from raclette and fondue to its famously-indulgent cheese toasties.
This special offer sees the latte and cappuccino coffees sprinkled on top with a tasty dusting of well-aged Parmesan before serving.
“It adds a nice creamy-yellow topping to the coffee,” says Andy. “We did some taste-testing first, and although customers weren’t too keen, one or two didn’t object too strongly. So we decided to go ahead, anyway.
