ASC Targets European Growth With New Senior Hire

Technology-led logistics company Advanced Supply Chain (ASC), part of Reconomy, has appointed Simon Sexton as Vice President of Sales Europe, following the opening of its new European operating facility in Germany.

Simon has previously led the growth of logistics companies opening in Germany for the first time, having overseen the German launch of XPO and Savino Del Bene. In his new role, he’ll draw on more than 20 years’ supply chain experience to establish ASC’s new 21,647 sqm facility in Nettetal and expand the company’s European footprint.

ASC invested £60million in opening its new European operating facility in Nettetal in July 2023 and recently announced the appointment of general manager Damian Leszczyński. The site provides a range of value-added services covering pre-retail, returns processing, fulfilment, wholesale distribution, and transportation to retailers and consumer brands across Europe and the UK.

ASC is part of Reconomy, a leading provider of tech-enabled solutions for the circular economy.

ASC plans to establish a workforce of 150 employees at its new European operating facility over the next 12 months, with this growing to 400 jobs by the end of 2026.
