Andy and the Oddsocks - Who's In The Oddsocks?

For those with children Andy Day is immediately recognisable. Having made his debut on CBeebies back in 2007, he has help entertain and educate on some of the biggest children's programmes of the last 13 years. While his CBeebies colleague, Justin Fletcher, has perhaps dominated the musical market that can be often associated with children's television for a very long period, Andy showed his initial intentions to take a slice of the market back in 2017 with the album Who Invited This Lot?

Not alone in his musical endeavours, Andy is joined by Mac (keyboards), Rio (guitar), Moxy (drums) and Blu (bass) - better known as his Oddsocks. The group are unlike many of the already celebrated toddler targeted groups, for while their lyrics are all uplifting messages of positivity and advice, their sound is far more engaging for the adults who also will have to listen to the recordings on repeat.

Having impressed on their debut release with the addictive Aliens and playful Cheeky Friends, the group's sophomore album boasts 17 songs that are equally moreish. With a little something for everyone, Andy and the Oddsocks deliver the fun from the very outset.

With future classics for the children, there is little doubt that Choose Respect, Chop Choppety Chop, Noisy Neville and Save All The Animals will be sung and danced to for many years to come. And we challenge you all not to try rap along with Rinky Dinky Doo, but we forewarn you that this is a song that you will accidentally start singing at all sorts of weird times in the day...

File alongside the children's albums by Barenaked Ladies, Jewel, Dolly Parton, They Might Be Giants and Priscilla Ahn as the ones parents will enjoy as much as their children.
