Bradford’s Open Mic Night Of Poetry And Spoken Word

Kala Sangam Arts Centre
Kala Sangam Arts Centre
Kala Sangam – Bradford city centre’s intercultural arts hub – will feature an exciting open mic night of poetry, spoken word and music held from 7.30pm on Thursday 13th June.

Hosted by the very talented Bradford poet Nabeelah Hafeez, the night is one of many Kala Sangam events that are ‘pay what you decide’ – you don’t have to pay until after you’ve seen the show, when you can decide yourself how much you think it was worth. This means you won’t have to worry about paying in advance to see a show you might not like – however, with the array of talent that will be on offer, this is a night that is sure to be thoroughly enjoyed by everyone with a passion for all things poetry.

For the more eager poetry-lovers out there, however, you are able to reserve your pay-what-you-decide ticket in advance on kalasangam.org.

If you are a poet – whether you are a beginner trying it out for the first time, or you are a more experienced writer – this could be your moment to share your hard work with an audience of like-minded people. Performance slots are limited, however, but a quick email to info@kalasangam.org should be enough to cement your place amongst your fellow talented artists.

All money collected will go towards the poets and performers themselves, making this a fantastic initiative supporting very talented people right on your doorstep!
