By Appointment Only: The Vices Archive Opens In York

York based businessmen Daniel Curro and Moreno Carbone are in the process of creating a very exclusive hotel experience in York. Housed in a former police station in the historic city, the hotel will have 3 suites and a restaurant that will offer exceptional food and drink.

Based on Alma Terrace, The Vices will be a unique hotel in York, being just under a short 10 minute walk from the city centre the quiet residential area lends itself to a more relaxed vibe.

Ahead of the hotel opening (which has been delayed because of Covid-19 restrictions) the duo have launched The Vices Archive - a boutique store which offers the best Italian wines, Champagnes and Balsamic vinegars.

I met Daniel who comes from Milan. His knowledge and enthusiasm was impressive along with his wealth of knowledge about the wines on offer to buy. A professional Chef and Sommelier he will let you try the wines as you discover the best one for you.

Guests have to book a 45 minute private shopping visit with Daniel so that they can spend time tasting and selecting and learn about the history of the wine in a socially distanced environment.

The Vices Archive will be on line soon so you can browse the wines on offer.

Bottoms Up! It is then if you take up the opportunity to experience the taste of Italy at The Vices Archive.
