Caddick Construction Takes On Its Smallest Ever Build Project In Wakefield
(L-R)Saxon Firm, aged 5, with four year olds, Oscar Clay, Blaise Breeze and Archie Lodge old.
Caddick Construction undertook its smallest ever build and installation this week – with the help of schoolchildren from Wakefield.
More used to constructing multi-million pound industrial developments or high profile residential schemes, the Caddick team this time supported a Bug Hotel project undertaken by pupils at Crofton Infants School, Wakefield. The children were given the shell of the bug hotel and other materials so they could make up an insect “des-res” to hopefully entice a host of creepy crawlies into taking up residence.
Caddick Social Value Manager Debbie Watson, said: “The team is used to building huge structures over months, sometimes years, so it was a welcome change to “downsize” and help some of the tiniest residents in our local communities. We hope Crofton’s new bug hotel enjoys full occupancy this summer with a wide variety of guests enjoying the facilities!”
