Christmas Tree Collection For Sheffield Children's Hospital

Christmas Tree Collections are are again this year collecting Christmas trees and raising funds for Sheffield children's hospital.

The organisers said:

"What we do is take all the hassle out of queuing at the tip sites and finding the needles in your car months after Christmas.

"For a donation of £10 we take all this hassle away, by collecting it from your front door we then recycle the tree and it is used for fuel for power stations."

"Last year was our first time running the operation and we still managed to raise £7,300.

"To all our lovely customers who have booked to have their Christmas Trees collected by JM Groundcare & Berry’s Trees and Gardens Ltd, our collection policy is as follows.

"We aim to collect all Christmas Trees between the 7th and 12th of January. We kindly ask that you leave your tree in a convenient place where we can see it and collect it from the 7th of January. If we have not collected your tree by the 12th of January, please get in touch, but until then please rest assured that we will be collecting within this time frame."
