Cricket Mad Kids Get - Barbados Coaching Invite

Cricket mad youngsters keen not to miss out on their favourite pastime with the inconvenience of a summer holiday have the perfect solution……get mum and dad to take you to Barbados!

Luxury resorts Port Ferdinand and Saint Peter’s Bay in Barbados, are running cricket camps every day this month when a top Barbados cricketer will help kids perfect their skills whilst building bat and ball confidence.

The camp is being run in partnership with The Franklyn Stephenson Academy based at St. Thomas where there are 13 turf pitches and two all-weather pitches with bowling machines.

The summer camp runs every day during July, between 9 am and 3 pm, and are available at a cost of US $25 (£19.80*) per day or US $100 (£79*) per week.

The programme is suitable for children age 7 to 18 and covers physical and technical training, limited overs games and continuous cricket. The Port Ferdinand and Saint Peter’s Bay concierge team can organise transfers to and from the cricket camp.

The camp is the brain child of former professional cricketer Franklyn Dacosta Stephenson. Franklyn was born in Barbados and developed an early passion for cricket, going on to play professionally in four continents and in the 1980s and 90s he played in England, for Gloucestershire, Nottinghamshire and Sussex county teams.
