Dutch Barn Vodka Yorkshire Mixology Competition

Dutch Barn Vodka - co-owned by comedian Ricky Gervais and created by the North Yorkshire based Ellers Farm Distillery - is looking to support locally-grown bartending talent by hosting the ultimate competition for all Yorkshire bartenders with £5,000 up for grabs…

Dutch Barn Vodka is proud to be a Yorkshire-based brand, and it’s Co-Founder Ricky Gervais is passionate about supporting talent wherever possible.

So, Yorkshire's MotherDutching Mixologist Competition 2024 challenges local mixologists to create a delicious new cocktail Yorkshire can be motherdutching proud of, using the crisp, smooth flavour of Dutch Barn.

Ricky himself will share the winning cocktail on his personal Instagram page, giving the winning Yorkshire-based bartender a global audience.

To enter, Yorkshire-based bartenders simply need to register their details HERE and create a killer motherdutching cocktail, posting a picture of the masterpiece on Instagram and tagging @dutchbarnvodka along with the hashtag #YORKSHIREDUTCHER2024. The more you post, the more chances you have. Registration closes Friday 4th October 2024.

Once all entries are received, Dutch Barn Vodka’s expert team will then pay a visit to the top 30 Yorkshire bars, trying their creations firsthand and selecting 10 finalists. Finalists will then be invited to the distillery for the grand finale, where they’ll be going head-to-head for the grand prize of £5,000.

In addition to £5,000, the winner will have their cocktail creation shared to all of Ricky Gervais’ 4 million Instagram followers, as well 2x VIP tickets to his newly announced Mortality Tour and other goodies! There will also be prizes for the runner up, including 2x VIP tickets to the Mortality Tour and a signed bottle of Dutch Barn Vodka from Ricky himself.
