Egg Collector Due For Sentencing
This Friday, 23 April 2021, Terence Potter will be sentenced at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.

In April 2020, South Yorkshire Police, supported by RSPB Investigations, executed a search warrant at the home address of Mr Potter, 63, of Cumberworth Lane, Upper Cumberworth, West Yorkshire. There they found a large collection of bird’s eggs and related equipment.
On 17 February 2021 Potter pleaded guilty to eight charges: two counts of possessing items capable of being used to take birds eggs, three counts of possession of a wild bird's eggs (179 black-headed gull eggs, eight golden plover and seven curl('') and three counts of taking wild bird eggs (179 black-headed gull eggs, four golden plover and three curl('').
A representative from the RSPB will be in attendance in court.
