Four Weeks Of Overnight Closures For A174 Resurfacing Near Middlesbrough

 
Drivers near Middlesbrough are advised that the A174 will be closed overnight for carriageway resurfacing work.

The A174 Parkway westbound will be shut for two phases of work from Sunday 9 June.

The first phase, lasting one week, will see the westbound carriageway between A172 Stokesley Road and B1380 closed for resurfacing.

The second phase, which will last three weeks, will see the westbound carriageway closed between B1365 Blue Bell to the A19.

The overnight closures will be between 8pm and 6am Sunday to Friday.

During phase one, the diversion route will be via the A172 Stokesley Road Interchange, A172, Stainton Way and B1380 Stainton Interchange.

Phase two’s diversion will be via the B1365 Blue Bell Interchange, B1365, Stainton Way, B1380 Low Lane, Thornaby Road, A174 Parkway Extension and A19 Interchange.

There will be a daytime 50mph speed limit for traffic running on a temporary surface throughout the resurfacing work.
