Fourth UK Indie Lit Fest Returns To Bradford

In 2016, Follow This Publishing initiated a unique festival which would showcase authors’ work, support budding writers and give readers the chance to interact with best-selling authors from around the UK for free.
Since that first small event, the UK Indie Lit Fest has grown year on year, and in 2019 it will offer the biggest programme to date.
This year the Lit Fest will be welcoming 37 authors from all over the UK, writers in genres as eclectic as romance, horror, mystery, historical fiction, poetry, self-help, YA, dystopia, fantasy, paranormal, chick lit, crime, children's fiction and everything in between.
The day will be packed with free writers’ workshops, readings from attending authors, a poets’ corner and talks.
The event will also include an International Hub where authors from around the world will video-chat to their fans and readers. This year fantasy giant C.J. Rutherford from Ireland returns for his second year, plus, by special arrangement, J.S. Burke, the American queen of Romance.
Last year the festival introduced a new attraction in the terpsichorially eloquent form of the Tombe Dance Company, a young group of dancers and book lovers who create physical theatre pieces which reflect their favourite reads. This year, Tombe will be performing their interpretation of Alice in Wonderland, with 2 performances on the day, at 12.00pm and 3.20pm.
Saturday, 27th July 2019. 10am-5pm. At Kala Sangam Arts Centre, St. Peter’s House, Bradford, BD1 4TY.
