Gary Barlow - Music By Humans Tour

The last time Gary Barlow played a solo UK tour it was in small venues such as the Victoria Theatre in Halifax, Blackpool’s Opera House and the Manchester Apollo.

This time around it will be back to the big arenas that you see him in when with Take That. A new album is to be released on 27 November entitled Made By Humans which includes duets with Michael Buble, Barry Manilow, Alesha Dixon and Beverley Knight who is also the supporting act on the tour.

It seems that the new album is inspired by the big band sound that influenced Gary when growing up, which probably explains why there will be a full orchestra on the tour. The first single Elita is already out now.

They say that there will be tracks played from all his career. It will be interesting to hear how they will interpret Greatest Day and Never Forget. Though hits such as Everything Changes were given a jazzy touch on his last solo tour. You can imagine what Relight My Fire will sound like with a big orchestra - and you can bet that Beverley Knight will sing the part of the song that Lulu does on the recorded version from 1993.

Tickets for the 2021 tour go on sale on Friday 9th October from 9.30pm.
