Gin Liqueurs Provide Christmas Cheer

The countdown to Christmas is on and with it a choice of drinks and spirits with which to toast the festive season.

Cupboards are being opened, bottles retrieved and dusted off as families prepare for parties and how best to treat their guests.

Over the years, tradition has seen liqueurs prove popular at Christmas – an extra special treat at a special time of year.

Raisthorpe Distillery’s fruity gin liqueurs are no exception, great on their own or blended with its Yorkshire Tonic to give your liqueur festive fizz.

Great Taste award winner, Raisthorpe’s Damson Gin Liqueur is made using damsons grown on the Wolds and steeped in gin and sugar to give it a smoother taste compared to traditional gins.

Raisthorpe’s Sloe Gin – a winner at this year’s Great Taste Awards – features sloes grown on the distillery estate and is ideal with champagne, sparkling white wine or simply by itself.
