Harrogate Autumn Flower Show Set To Bloom Again

Harrogate Flower show celebrates the harvest with spectacular Floral displays, over 5,000 beautiful autumn blooms, wonderful fruit and vegetables plus plenty of ideas and inspiration for planning a new year in the garden.

Taking place over 3 days from Friday 13 September the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show is one of the last flower shows to take place in the year.

This year’s highlights:

NEW for 2019 – Back to the Future, a fantastic floral tribute to one of the country’s most beautiful stately homes, Newby Hall, and its award-winning gardens. Complete with a moving miniature train, the floral teams will be using hundreds of plants and flowers to recreate part of Newby’s famous herbaceous borders, which are reputed to be some of the longest in Europe.

Also part of the Back to the Future feature is a special display, with stunning pictorial meadow, illustrating how the forgotten pleasure park of Leeds, Golden Acre, is finding a new life as beacon of biodiversity.

Find fantastic ideas for beds and borders in the new Creative Spaces gardens, with themes ranging from up-cycled car parts to a spitfire aircraft.

The autumn show hosts Britain’s biggest exhibition by specialist gardening societies, with over 5000 beautiful autumn blooms, all primped and preened to perfection!

The world famous giant vegetable competition takes place on the first day (13 Sept) with 16 classes of monster veg, plus the annual world record weigh-in for heavy onions.

Advance tickets are now on sale and if you book before Tuesday 3 September you can save £2.50 a ticket. Gift packs including two any day tickets, preferential parking and a show programme are available priced at £54.95.

Under 16's go free when accompanied by an adult.
