Hotel’s ‘Touchless’ Guest Journey Post Covid
Ikos Resorts has announced that its award-winning Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki, Greece will reopen for the 2020 season on 1st July, welcoming guests to a new world of safety.
Opening dates for Ikos Oceania, Ikos Dassia and Ikos Aria will be announced in the coming weeks, and Ikos Andalusia in Spain will open its doors for the first time on 1st September 2020.
Stringent measures have been taken to ensure guests’ overall well-being and safety remain a priority with the introduction of the Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™.
A World of Safety & Exceptional Care with Complete Testing & Medical Support
All staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and will then receive regular molecular diagnostic tests. All guests will be strongly advised to undergo a test 72 hours prior to arrival at the resort and in case of no testing before travel, a complimentary rapid antibody test will be offered upon arrival.
At all resort entry points there will be non-invasive touchless temperature measurement devices, on top of round-the-clock medical support across the resort, an in-resort ambulance and the possibility to explore insurance options at time of booking. Meticulous disinfecting technology will also be used throughout the resort and guest rooms.
A Carefree Guest Journey
Physical distancing will be actively encouraged and a range of measures will offer a touchless guest journey from the moment guests check in to the hotel all the way through to the end of their holiday.
With an upgraded mobile app in place designed to limit face to face interactions, guests will able to enjoy Ikos Olivia’s 24-hour room service fully contactless, make digital restaurant and spa bookings, view the resort’s array of à la carte menus curated by Michelin starred chefs and 300 local and international wines selected by the sommelier, fully zero touch.
Guests will also be able to contact staff at all times via Whatsapp.
