Huntington Extends Bradford City Stay
Football
Bradford City AFC have confirmed that Paul Huntington has extended his stay with the club until the end of the season.
The experienced central defender joined the Bantams in October on a short-term deal and has impressed in his eight appearances.
Huntington has already achieved two promotions in his career - first with Preston North End, in 2014/15, and more recently with Carlisle United in 2022/23, when he captained the Cumbrian side to play-off glory.
Huntington said: “I am very pleased to extend my time at the club and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing here.
“My aim is to continue to make an impact and put in good performances and I am delighted that everyone wants to see me stay.
“There is a real togetherness here and everyone is striving for the same goal.”
City boss Graham Alexander added: “It was an easy decision to extend Paul’s deal as he’s made such a good impression with everyone here.
“He has shown his desire to be successful again, plus his quality and experience will undoubtedly be an important asset to us this season.”
Paul Huntington will continue to be sponsored by Pickersgill Financial Planning Ltd.
