The Yorkshire office of global property consultancy Knight Frank was named the Office Agency Team of the Year at this year’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards.

The awards, held at New Dock Hall, Leeds, were attended by 600 of the region's top professionals.

Ian Leech of Yorkshire Business Insider praised all of the winners and shortlisted companies.

"Having chaired the judging session, I know that some of the categories were very close to call and I think that goes to show the quality we have here in the Yorkshire property sector," he said.

The Judges commented: “For many years now, Knight Frank has proved itself to be a quality specialist, particularly in the office and industrial sectors. Regionally, it is dominant in South Yorkshire, yet can also boast a 43 per cent market share for Leeds city centre business. Key deals the firm highlighted were a 15-year lease of 1 Trevelyan Square to Leeds Trinity University, the sale of The Bourse multi-let office and lettings advice on Mirastar’s Sheffield Catalyst industrial scheme.”

The Office Agency Team of the Year award was sponsored by Konect62.

Eamon Fox, head of Development and partner in charge of office agency at Knight Frank in Leeds, commented:
“We were delighted to win this prestigious award, especially as the awards were voted for by an expert committee of property professionals. It has been an interesting and demanding year for the property industry in Yorkshire, but we have managed to put together some important deals in a challenging market. Our hard work has paid off, our magic sauce is our teams, a small group of talented individuals, with uniquely different approaches and a common theme of nurturing creativity, collaboration and a 'Client First' perspective.

“The commercial property market in Yorkshire is now gathering momentum and the next 12 months will be especially interesting. At Knight Frank, we look forward to being at the forefront of activity in the Yorkshire market in 2025 and beyond."
